Job Description
The Interdisciplinary Studies in Classics Program (ISCP) at the Department of Chinese, Sun Yat-sen University (Zhuhai) invites applications in the following areas:
1.    Asian Thought and Comparative Studies
2.    Classical and Contemporary Western Thinking
3.    Excavated Texts and Paleography
The ISCP at the Department of Chinese at SYSU (Zhuhai) aims to develop interdisciplinary studies in different realms in order to create an open space for dialogue between Eastern and Western thought. All relevant scholars in Philosophy, Language and Literature, and Religion are welcome to apply.

About the Institution
Sun Yat-sen University, founded by the widely revered Chinese philosopher, physician, and politician Sun Yat-sen, is a preeminent research institute and one of the leading universities in China. The Department of Chinese (Zhuhai) at Sun Yat-sen University was officially established in October 2015. Located in the beautiful city of Zhuhai, the Department of Chinese (Zhuhai) has different levels of programs of undergraduate, graduate and postdoc, as well as three vibrant research platforms: (1) Sinophone Literature and Culture, (2) Literary Theory and Aesthetics, and (3) The Interdisciplinary Studies in Classics Program. We seek to establish an outstanding department for interdisciplinary studies in humanities with domestic and international influence, and provide a competitive salary and living subsidy.
